It has been revealed that the newly announced Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) anime will be titled Book of Circus. Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus will be airing this July and will indeed be a full televised series. Additionally, an OVA titled Book of Murder was also announced, which will have a sneak peak in theatres later this year.
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus will be adapting the Noah’s Ark Circus Arc from Yana Toboso’s manga, and Kuroshitsuji: Book of Murders will cover the Phantomhive Manor Murder Case Arc, set after Book of Circus.

Black Butler, also known as Kuroshitsuji is a manga series created by Yana Toboso. The series started in 2006 and is currently being published by Square Enix in their Monthly GFantasy magazine. To date the series has a total of 18 volumes with more on the way, selling over 5 million copies. The manga also won many awards, including the Best International Manga Award in Germany’s 2011 Animagic. Since its release, there has been two anime adaptations, a series of OVAs, a live action film and 2 musical production. The first anime series was produced by A-1 Pictures in 2008 with the sequel anime airing 2010. The OVAs are a side story to the main story, and the live adaptation film is based on the manga. The musical productions, titled That Butler, Friendship and Musical Black Butler: The Most Beautiful Death in The World – A Thousand Souls and The Fallen Grim Reaper ran in 2009 and 2010 respectively. The latter received a second run mid last year.
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus will be airing in July this year. Book of Murders, the follow up OVA will be out later this year. Though a date has not been announced.
