Spring is officially here! The season seems to be great and full of interesting series, full of potential. While your mind is on those cute idols, why not have a little looksies at what the next season has to offer. It is of course the warm season of Summer (or Winter for you Southern Hemisphere), and you should prepare for the heat with the first version of the Summer Anime 2014 Chart from Atxpieces. Summer is certainly bringing the heart with some major contenders, but before that we need to state that all the information presented in this chart is not final. Changes can and are likely to happen, both good and bad. Lots of new plot synopsis are released and anime might be pushed back. So take everything in the chart with a grain of salt.
As for the anime series for Summer:
- there is the upcoming original mecha anime from Gen Urobuchi – Aldnoah Zero
- the anime adaptation of the popular mobile game Kantai Collection
- Zankyou no Terror a new anime from Shinichiro Watanabe, the director of Cowboy Bebop
- the super highly anticipated second season of Ai Mai Mi (I think its anticipated)
- and of course Sword Art Online II
