Clockwork Planet Anime Adaptation Announced

The official website of Yuu Kamiya, Tsubaki Himana and Shino’s Clockwork Planet light novels has announced that the series will be receiving an anime adaptaiton.

The light novel’s website has also revealed that the 4th volume of the novel will be released in Japan on December 29th.

Clockwork Planet is a fantasy light novel series written by Yuu Kamiya (No Game, No Life) and Tsubaki Himana, with illustrations by Shino. The series itself is published by Kodansha’s Lanove Bunko imprint, with a total of 3 volumes published to date and a 4th volume releasing on December 29. The series received a manga adaptation by Kuro, published in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.

“The Clockwork Planet”

One day, a black box suddenly crashed into the house of the high school dropout Naoto Miura. Inside it was a female automaton. The endless cycle of failure and success.

The world that does change and the mankind that does not change. At a time where reality and fantasy are screaming, the encounters of these two make the gears of fate move!

An anime adaptation of Clockwork Planet is currently in production. Further details about the anime, including its format, will be revealed at a later date.
