North American anime licensor and producer Funimation has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ ( Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F/Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F), the latest film based on Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball manga. This new trailer reveals that the film will be opening in North America for one week, from August 4 till August 12. The film will also be dubbed in English featuring the return of the cast from Dragon Ball Z:Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Kai, including Chris Ayres returning as Frieza. The movie features a new original story written by the manga’s creator Akira Toriyama, similar to the 2012 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. Toriyama will be more involved with the upcoming film, being credited with the original concept, screenplay and character designs.
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ will release in North America with an English dub by Funimation on August 4th through the 12th. Further information about the locations will be revealed soon.
