The official English trailer has been released at the 2015 Tokyo Game Show for Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3; Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The video previews all the games in the HD collection and also previews footage of Kingdom Hearts III. The new game will be the third HD remaster in the franchise, continuing on from Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix. The new game will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and will contain: Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage. The first is a remaster of the 3DS title of the same name, the second is a movie that ties into the upcoming mobile game Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, and the last is brand new gameplay set before the events of Kingdom Hearts 3 and after the events of Birth By Sleep, where players will control Aqua.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be released in Japan, North America and Europe on the PlayStation 4 in 2016.
