At AnimeJapan 2015, new information has been revealed about the upcoming original anime film produced by the staff behind AnoHana, Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterun Da (The Anthem of the Heart). The original anime film will be releasing in Japanese theatres on September 19th. Additionally, the film’s cast, character designs and the first promotional video were all revealed on the anime’s website.
The first members of the anime’s main cast were revealed alongside the first set of character designs of the anime. The main cast includes:
- Inori Minase (Chino Kafuu in Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?) as Jun Naruse
- Kouki Uchiyama (Raku Ichijou from Nisekoi) as Takumi Sakagami
- Sora Amamiya (Akame from Akame ga Kill!) as Natsuki Nidou
- Yoshimasa Hosoya (Junpei Hyuuga in Kuroko’s Basketball) as Daiki Tazaki

The upcoming film will have the following staff members from the production crew of AnoHana:
- Director: Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, Toradora!)
- Screenplay Writer: Mari Okada (Hanasaku Iroha, Toradora!)
- Anime Character designer: Masayoshi Tanaka (High School of the Dead, Toradora!)
- Animation Studio: A-1 Pictures (Aldnoah.Zero, Sword Art Online)
Here is first teaser video for the new film, which goes through the AnoHana anime, the 2011 TV series and the 2013 anime film, as well as the festival in August, where the new project was announced.
The Kokoro Ga Sakebitagatterun Da anime movie will be releasing in Japanese theatres from September 19th. Further information about the film will be revealed soon.
