The official website of the anime adaptation of Masaki Tsuzuki and Takuya Fujima’s Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) manga has revealed that the upcoming series will be broadcasting from April this year. In addition, a brand new visual and the first commercial was revealed, as well as the anime’s main cast and staff.
The anime’s website has revealed the main cast of the upcoming anime. It includes:
- Kaori Mizuhashi (Mami Tomoe from Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica) voicing the lead role of 10 year old Vivio Takamachi
- Mamiko Noto (Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad) will voice Einhart Stratos
- Yukari Tamura (Nui Harime in Kill la Kill) returns as Nanoha Takamachi
- Nana Mizuki (Hinata Hyuuga in Naruto) is voicing Fate Testarossa Harlaown
- Eri Kitamura (Yui from Angel Beats!) voices Rio
- Misato Fukuen (Konjiki no Yami in To LOVE-Ru) as Corona
The main staff of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid anime consists of:

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) is the fourth instalment in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise, set 4 years after the events of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. It is a manga series written by Masaki Tsuzuki and illustrated by Takuya Fujima that began in 2009 in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace Magazine. To date a total of 12 volumes have been published and the 13th volume will release on January 26. The series also inspired a spin-off 4koma series titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid Life that is illustrated by Nekotofu. The first four volumes of the series has been republished in full colour under the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid Full Colors title.
Here is a synopsis of the series from ANN:
The manga takes place four years after the JS incident in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, and stars Vivio Takamachi, a fourth-year elementary student at St. Hilde Academy of Magic. Vivio has learned to conjure her adult form and has received her own Device — named Sacred Heart — from Nanoha, and has promised Nanoha to never use either for mischief. Then a mysterious magical fighter appears and targets Vivio.
The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid anime will be airing from April during the Spring 2015 anime season. Further information about the series will be revealed soon.
