Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Delayed to February 2016 – New Images & Videos Revealed

Earlier this year, the July issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed that the scheduled Fall/Autumn release of Bandai Namco Games and CyberConnect2’s Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been delayed till February next year on all platforms worldwide. To make up for the delay, the publisher has released a plethora of new images and videos to entice fans.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be coming out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC via Steam in February. The game is currently scheduled to be released in Japan on February 4, in Europe on February 5, and in North America on February 9. Before the full game comes out, a demo of the game will be out on consoles on December 17 and will feature the legendary fight between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha.

To tie fans over until the game’s February release, a series of new videos showcasing gameplay, mechanics (including destructible terrain) and the story in the upcoming game. Here is the most recent trailer that summarises all the key points of the game, from characters to gameplay and the final arcs of the story.

Some raw gameplay footage from the Japanese version of the game was also revealed, which features combat between Kakashi and Itachi.

In addition to those videos, many new screenshots were also revealed. The first set of images reveal that both Boruto and Sarada from the recent Boruto -Naruto the Movie- film will be playable in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be the fifth game in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series and will be a direct sequel to Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. The games are 3D arena fighting games, and are developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai Games. The games are based on the anime adaptations (Naruto and Naruto Shippuden) of Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga series. The manga began in 1999 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, where to date a total of 69 volumes have released. Since its debut the manga has sold over 130 million copies in Japan alone. Both anime series were produced by Studio Pierrot. Additionally, a total of 9 anime films have released to date and numerous OVAs and specials. The latest game in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, a spinoff that released earlier in the year.
