A brand new video has been released at Comiket 88 for the upcoming Selector Destructed WIXOSS anime film. This new video gives a very cryptic tease of what the upcoming movie will offer. The anime will once again be animated by J.C. Staff (Toradora!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo) and directed by Takuya Satou (Steins;Gate, Seitokai no Ichizon). The main cast from the previous seasons will return to reprise their roles.
The Selector Destructed WIXOSS anime film will be released in Japanese theatres from February 13, 2016, starting at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Wald 9 theatre.

The first set of advance tickets for the film already went on sale.
The first batch will come with a limited edition hologram, foil Arc Destruct WIXOSS promo card. Though, there are only a limited supply for the card.

WIXOSS is a card game that’s popular with teenagers. Supposedly there exist “LRIG Cards,” female character cards with wills of their own. Special girls can hear the voices of the LRIGs, and those who possess them are called Selectors. These Selectors have card battles in a dimension that other humans cannot access. It’s said that whoever triumphs in these battles will have their wish granted. Ruko Kominato is the latest girl to find an LRIG card. She names her card Tama, and without any further explanation is thrown into her life as a Selector.
