The second commercial for the upcoming anime adaptation of Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki’s manga Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma). This new commercial, narrated by Risa Taneda, showcases more of the wonderful visuals and food in the upcoming anime. The video also previews the anime’s Opening theme, Kibou no Uta by ULTRATOWER. The series will be directed by Yonetani Yoshitomo (Tiger & Bunny Movie 1: The Beginning, Hoshi no Umi no Amuri) and animated by J.C. Staff (Toradora!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo). The anime’s main cast was earlier revealed and features Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (Kirito in Sword Art Online) as Souma Yukihira, Risa Taneda (Mirai Kuriyama in Kyoukai no Kanata) as Erina Nakiri and Minami Takahashi (Mew from Pri Para) as Megumi Tadokoro.
The Shokugeki no Souma anime will air in Japan this April during the Spring 2015 anime season.
