The Winter 2014/2015 anime season has just started and there are already anime that have caught our eyes. The first episode of Kunihiko Ikuhara’s original Yuri Kuma Arashi (Yuri Bear Storm) anime has already aired and the Opening animation for the series is really something. With a nice soothing music theme (Ano Mori de Matteru by Bonjour Suzuki) and somewhat enticing visuals, it really showcases the Yuri of Yuri Kuma Arashi. The series stars Miho Arakawa (Sumireko Hanabusa in Akuma no Riddle) as Ginko Yurishiro, Yoshiko Ikuta (Yukina Sonogi in Senkou no Night Raid) as Lulu Yurigasaki, and Nozomi Yamane (First major role) as Kureha Tsubaki. The series is produced by Silver Link (Kokoro Connect, Non Non Biyori).
Yuri Kuma Arashi is currently airing on Tuesdays on Tokyo MX at 12:30am JST, with the next episode airing on the 13th.
