Bandai Namco Games have released the Opening cinematic for the upcoming release of From Software’s Dark Souls III. This new video sets up the tone and setting for the game, as players will traverse the Kingdom of Lothric. Hidetaka Miyazaki will return to direct the game alongside Isamu Okano. There will be many changes to the game’s mechanics as well as returning systems from both Dark Souls II and the recent Bloodborne.
Dark Souls III will be out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC via Steam on April 12, 2016 in Europe and North America. The game will be out earlier in Japan on March 24th.
