Whilst the series has finished its broadcast there is still more to the anime adaptation of Souichirou Shinno and Shirabi’s Musaigen no Phantom World (Myriad Colors Phantom World) novel. The first commercial has been revealed for an unaired Beach episode of the anime, and previews some of the “typical” scenes from such an episode. It will be coming with the final Blu-ray and DVD volume of the series. There will be a total of 7 volumes of the anime, with the first releasing on April 6th with episode 1 and 2.
The unaired episode of the Musaigen no Phantom World anime will be bundled with the series’ 7th Blu-ray and DVD volume, out in Japan on October 5th.
The main cast of the Musaigen no Phantom World anime includes:
- Hiro Shimono (Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows) leading the cast to voice Ichijo Haruhiko
- Sumire Uesaka (Sanae Dekomori in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) voicing main character Mai Kawakami
- Saori Hayami (Miyuki Shiba in Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) will voice Reina Izumi
- Maaya Uchida (Rikka Takanashi from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) is voicing Koito Minase
- Azusa Tadokoro (Fino Bloodstone in Yuushibu) as Ruru
- Misaki Kuno (Kate Hoshimiya from Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda) joins to voice Kurumi Kumamakura
- Kikuko Inoue (Sanae Furukawa in Clannad) as Arisu Himeno
- Shosuke Morohashi, whose voice cast has not been revealed yet

Here is the series synopsis:
The story takes place in the near future, in a world born of human imagination. What humans would call ghosts or monsters appear, and they come to be called “phantoms.” The main character, Haruhiko Ichijou, is a first year at Hosea Academy along with his upperclassman Mai Kawakami, who fights phantoms with the ability “Spirit of Five Elements,” Reina Izumi, who has the ability “Phantom Eater,” and Koito Minase, who fights phantoms in solitude. They experience the ups and downs of high school life before a certain incident leads them to the truth of this world.
