The first promotional video has been released for the upcoming anime adaptation of Meguru Ueno’s Hajimete no Gal (First-Time Gal) manga. The new video preview the style of animation, introduces the main characters of the series and showcases some of the major “plot points” of the series.
The Hajimete no Gal TV anime adaptation will start airing this July during the Summer 2017 anime season.
The main cast of the anime consists of:
- Shintaro Asanuma (Takatoshi Tsuda from Seitokai Yakuindomo) will voice Junichi Hashiba
- Yuki Nagaku (Ichigo Moesaki from Sore ga Seiyuu!) as Yukana Yame
- Eri Kitamura (Yui in Angel Beats!) is going to voice Ranko Honjou
- Ayana Taketatsu (Kirino Kousaka from Oreimo) will be voicing as Yui Kashii
- Yui Ogura (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.) voices Shizune Fujinoki
The leading members of the anime’s production consists of:
- Director and Anime Character Designer: Hiroyuki Furukawa (Okusama ga Seitokaichou!, Piccole Principesse Lil’Pri)
- Series Composer: Yuuichiro Momose (Minori Scramble! and Fate/Zero Production Assistant)
- Animation Studio: Naz (Hamatora, DRAMAtical Murder)
Series synopsis from MAL:
Spring. The “season of love” has arrived and it seems that finding himself a girlfriend was harder than Junichi believed. To break the status quo, Junichi’s friends have forced him into confessing to the gyaru, Yame Yukana. However, things do not go quite as he expected. A series of “firsts” begins!
