New Grand Theft Auto V Screenshots

New Grand Theft Auto V Screenshots

Rockstar Games has released a set of screenshots and images of GTA V. The new screenshots highlight the new engine at work and all the pretty graphics and details for their anticipated game. Of course you can’t dismiss that the game looks gorgeous even if it is on this generation of consoles. There has been many discussions about the game being on next-generation consoles but nothing meaningful has transpired from the fans or the developers.

Anyways, enjoy the set of screenshots until the game’s September release:

Grand Theft Auto V is the long awaited sequel in the long running series that has been iconic since the release of Grand Theft Auto III back in 2001 on the PlayStation 2. Since then there have multiple releases that fit the same formula, and has even earned many ‘GTA Clones’ over the years. The GTA series is popular for featuring a large open world that allows player to achieve almost anything within the game, many of which are violent. The series has had some negativity in the press, with some politicians condemning the game’s violence.

GTA V is set in Los Santos, one city that appeared in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, and follows three different protagonists as they rise up to multiple challenges to obtain the fabled ‘almighty dollar.’ The game features a large beautiful world that is both detailed and sprawling with life. Compared to Grand Theft Auto  IV, the game is much more bright and less serious, opting back to the previous games’ silliness and over the top nonsense.

GTA V wil launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th later this year. The release date for the PC has not been announced yet.
