A sequel to the spin-off series of Toaru Majutsu no Index has been revealed in a early look at the next issue of the ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki Daioh magazine.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun is a spin-off series of Toaru Majutsu no Index, which aired in October 2009. It has been over 3 years and a sequel to the series will be airing this spring. Titled Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S, the sequel will animate the Sisters arc from the manga. The announcement appeared in an early look at the next issue of ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki Daioh magazine, which goes on sale on Saturday.
The announcement also reveals that fripSide, who performed the first and second opening songs for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, will be performing the first opening for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S.
