A couple months ago, a video game collaboration between Toriko, One Piece and Dragon Ball Z was revealed and in the works by Namco Bandai, titled Project Versus J. It seems the three shows are teaming up again as the official website for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed that a one hour special will be airing on April 7. The special will be in two parts: Hashire Saiky? Gundan! Toriko to Luffy to Goku! (Run, Strongest Army! Toriko, Luffy, Goku!), and Shij? Saiky? Collaboration vs. Umi no Taishokukan (History’s Strongest Collaboration vs. Glutton of the Sea).
Toriko and One Piece have already had two crossover specials in April 2011 and April 2012. The special is titled Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Ch? Collaboration Special!! and Toriko producer Arisu Takagi teased various possibilities for the upcoming special. Some possibilities include Zoro, Zebra, and Vegeta fought, or if Sanji and Komatsu had a cooking match, or if Chopper witnessed Goten and Trunks’ fusion. Takagi said that Mr. Satan will also be included in the special and a battle scene where Toriko, Luffy, and Goku all team up together.
The hour special will air on Fuji Tv on Sunday, April 7 at 9:00 a.m.
