Dog Days Season 3 Visual, Cast, Character Designs & 2 Commercials Released

New information about the upcoming third season of the Dog Days anime has been released on the anime’s official website. A brand new visual has been released for Dog Days” in addition to the cast reveal, character designs and 2 new commercials being released.


The anime’s website has revealed the majority of the cast so far. The site has revealed two new characters and their cast members for the upcoming anime:

  • Maaya Uchida (Rikka Takanashi from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) will voice Lesa Anrobe



  • Sumire Uesaka (Sanae Dekomori in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) voicing Sharu

Most of the revealed cast are returning to reprise their roles from previous seasons of the anime, which include:

  • Mamoru Miyano (Rintarou Okabe from Steins;Gate) will reprise his role as Cinque Izumi
  • Yui Horie (Tsubasa Hanekawa from Bakemonogatari) as Millhiore Firianno Biscotti
  • Kana Asumi (Yuno from Hidamari Sketch) returns to voice Yukikaze Panettone



  • Ami Koshimizu (Ryuuko Matoi from Kill la Kill) back to voice Leonmichelli Galette des Rois
  • Aoi Yuuki (Shino Asada from Sword Art Online II) returning as Couvert Eschenbach Pastillage
  • Eri Kitamura (Yui from Angel Beats!) will voice Adelaide Grand Marnier
  • Mikako Takahashi (Yuzu Koyama from Girls und Panzer) voicing as Rebecca Anderson
  • Nana Mizuki (Hinata Hyuuga in Naruto) will be voicing Nanami Takatsuki
  • Nana Mizuki will also voice Ricotta Elmar



  • Ayana Taketatsu (Suguha Kirigaya from Sword Art Online) playing the role of Eclair Martinozzi



  • Yoko Hikasa (Mio Akiyama in K-ON!) will be voicing the role of Brioche d’Arquien



  • Takehito Koyasu (Dio Brando in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as Loran Martinozzi



  • Anri Katsu (Motoharu Tsuchimikado from Toaru Majutsu no Index) will voice Isuka Makishima



  • Yuuki Ono (Taiga Kagami in Kuroko no Basket) playing as Emilio Alcide



  • Tetsuya Kakihara (Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail) voicing Gaul Galette des Rois



  • Norio Wakamoto (Charles zi Britannia in Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch) voicing the role of Godwin Dorure



  • Daisuke Ono (Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler) voices Bernard Sabrage



  • Kana Hanazawa (Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate) will return to the role of Noir Vinocacao



  • Yoriko Nagata (Jun Suzuki from K-ON!) will play Jaune Clafoutis



  • Minako Kotobuki (Tsumugi Kotobuki in K-ON!) voices Vert Far Breton



  • Takahiro Mizushima (Haruki Kitahara from White Album 2) as Callaway Risler



  • Kousuke Toriumi (Shunsuke Imaizumi from Yowamushi Pedal) will be voicing Valerio Calvados


Two brand new commercials have been released for Dog Days”, both introducing returning characters and previewing the OP.

The website also revealed the Opening and Ending themes of the anime. The Opening will be No Limit performed by Nana Mizuki and the Ending will be performed by Yui Horie, both of which also performed the OP and ED for Dog Days and its second season, Dog Days’, respectively.

Dog Days is an original anime series created and written by Masaki Tsuzuki, known for creating the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha manga. The series first began in 2011 for a total of 13 episodes. The anime was produced by Seven Arcs and directed by Keizo Kusakawa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A’sCampione!). A second season of the anime, titled Dog Days’, was produced in the following year by the same producers, though it was directed by Junji Nishimura instead. The series also inspired a light novel and manga adaptation in 2011.

Here is a synopsis of the series from MAL:

Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a “hero” from the outer world. Cinque, a junior high school boy living on the Earth, is chosen as the hero.
