Ever wanted to collect high quality Nintendo figures and use them in games? Nintendo has announced amiibo, their answer to collectable figures in video games. Buy any of these figures and use them with your Nintendo Wii U gamepad as the character will appear in the game, for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Party 10, Captain Toad, Mario Kart 8 and Yoshi’s Wooly World. They contain chips that can save and transfer user data over to other Wii U gamepads. Support for the 3DS will release next year.
amiibo will be coming out later this year.
