A brand new video has launched for ufotable’s upcoming Fate/stay night adaptation which has revealed the anime’s air date. The series will be airing from October 4th this Fall/Autumn 2014 anime season.
The video focuses on the main heroine of the series, Rin Tohsaka, and also previews the anime’s Opening song ideal white by Mashiro Ayano. The anime’s official website has announced that they will be releasing a new commercial every week that focuses on a new character. The TV anime adaptation will follow the Unlimited Blade Works route of Type Moon’s visual novel. The anime will be a split cour series, the first 13 episodes will air on October 4 and the final 13 will air in April next year. This will be the second adaptation of the route; the first was an anime film in 2010 by studio Deen (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Rurouni Kenshin).
The anime’s Opening theme will be ideal white by Mashiro Ayano and the Ending theme will be performed by Kalafina. The anime’s production crew has also been announced:
