Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. Air Date, Visual, Staff, Character Designs & PV Revealed

The official website of  the Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. anime has revealed lots of new information for the upcoming series. The anime itself is an adaptation of Kotaro Kosugi’s 4 koma manga and will be airing from July 3rd on TBS at 26:16 (effectively July 4). Additionally, a new key visual, the cast and crew, character designs and a new promotional video were revealed.

Here is the second key visual of the anime:

The main cast members were revealed alongside their new character designs. They are as follows:

• Miku Itou(Yuho Mochidzuki in Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!, first major role) is voicing new idol Nanako Usami

 

• Sachika Misawa (Kuroyukihime from Accel World) will be voicing the upperclassman idol Yukari Kohinata

 

• Asami Shimoda (Ami Futami in The iDOLM@STER) voices Saori Nishifukai

 

• Inori Minase (Chino Kafuu in Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?) as Mirai Nadzukari

 

• Maya Yoshioka (Anchovy in Girls und Panzer) voicing as Yui Mikoze

 

• And the mascot of the group

 

The production crew who will be working on the anime include:

• Director: Munenori Nawa (Kiss×sis, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu)
• Series Composition and Screenplay: Yuniko Ayana (Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko)
• Screenplay: Tatsuya Takahashi (The iDOLM@STER, Escha & Logy no Atelier: Tasogare no Sora no Renkinjutsushi), Momoko Murakami (Minami-ke Tadaima)
• Character Designers: Yumi Shimizu (Shinsekai yori)
• Music Composer: Hasegawa Tomoki (Genshiken, Nana)
• Animation Studio: Feel (Minami-ke Tadaima, Outbreak Company)

The Opening theme of the anime will be Mirai Fanfare and the Ending theme is Mirai Shoujotachi. Both the songs will be sung by the two main idols of the series.

Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. is a 4 koma manga by Kotaro Kosugi. It began in 2011 in Ichijinsha’s Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine, where a total of 2 volumes have been produced. Here is a synopsis of the series from MAL:

The story is about the life of a high school girl, Nanako, and her senpai, Yukari, who end up becoming the town’s local idols (locodol) upon the request of her uncle.

Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. will be airing from July 3 at 26:16 (July 4), during the Summer 2014 anime season. Further videos and details on the series will release soon.
