A public banner at the Shinjuku subway station and a flyer has revealed that an anime adaptation of Comic Be’s web manga Mahou Shoujo: Ore is currently in production.
Mahou Shoujo: Ore is a web manga written and illustrated by Comic Be. The series began in 2012 and is currently being published on Sogou’s Pixiv account. Only 1 volume has been self published at Comiket, though it comes in two different versions. The manga is a gender bending, yaoi, magical girl series that follows a young girl who has recently become an idol and has a crush on a male popular idol. Her crush is kidnapped by demons, and she learns from the Yakuza that her mother was a magical girl as well. To save her crush she makes a contract to become a magical girl to save him, but she turns into a male magical girl. Despite this, her crush takes a liking to her new form.

Saki Hino is a member of the new idol group Magical Twin. She admires Mohiro Mikage from the popular idol group STAR☆RICE and would like to do anything for him. Her wish comes true one day when she becomes a male Mahou Shoujo!
