Publisher Bandai Namco Games have announced that that One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be getting an international release. The game based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga will be coming out in Europe and North America later this year. The game will be releasing on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.
Bandai Namco have also released provisional box art for the titles, but do note that these are not what the final release will look like.
The North American version of the game has been confirmed to include additional content from the Japanese version of the game, which released in November last year on the 3DS. New content includes: Colosseum Mode that resembles the Corrida Colosseum from the anime and manga and is similar to a tournament system, a new boss in the form of Donquixote Doflamingo, and Law being a new playable character.

One Piece is a manga series created by Eiichiro Oda that started in 1997. To date, it has a total of 73 volumes and has taken the crown for highest selling manga of all time, with over 345 million copies in circulation. The franchise is one of the world’s most well known series, with an anime adaptation that began in 1999. It is currently produced by Toei Animation. In addition, many light novels, spin-off manga, merchandise and video games. One Piece: Unlimited World Red is the fourth game in the Unlimited series that released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on November 13 2013. The game is a third person action adventure that features large environments, where the characters and pirates of the Straw Hat crew can run around and explore by themselves or with up to three friends. The game is developed by Ganbarion, who also developed previous entries in the series and the Wii JRPG Pandora’s Tower.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be releasing on the PS3, Vita, Wii U and 3DS in Europe and North America in 2014. The game will also be released on the Vita, Wii U and PS3 in Japan on June 12th. All platforms except for the Wii U version will have both physical and digital releases, with Nintendo’s home console only having a digital release.
