The first promotional video for the recently announced anime adaptation of Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki’s manga Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma). This new video showcases the series’ upcoming visuals, taking a look at all the wondrous food. The series will be directed by Yonetani Yoshitomo (Tiger & Bunny Movie 1: The Beginning, Hoshi no Umi no Amuri) and animated by J.C. Staff (Toradora!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo). The anime’s main cast was earlier revealed and features Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (Kirito in Sword Art Online) as Souma Yukihira, Risa Taneda (Mirai Kuriyama in Kyoukai no Kanata) as Erina Nakiri and Minami Takahashi (Mew from Pri Para) as Megumi Tadokoro.
The Shokugeki no Souma anime will air in Japan in 2015. More information about the anime will be revealed at Jump Festa 2015 on December 21st, where series creator Yuuto Tsukuda will be in attendance.
