Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine has released a new promotional video for Sui Ishida’s recently announced Tokyo Ghoul:re manga. The manga itself is a sequel to Ishida’s original Tokyo Ghoul manga after its conclusion last month. This new video reveals that the series will feature a brand new main character after the events of the original manga.
Here is a synopsis of the series:
The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious “ghouls” who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery. An ordinary college student named Kaneki encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him, at the café he frequents. Little does he realize that his fate will change overnight.
The first chapter for Tokyo Ghoul:re has already released in Weekly Young Jump.
