The first full trailer has been released for the 19th anime movie in the Detective Conan franchise, Detective Conan: The Hellfire Sunflowers. This first trailer reveals that Katio Kid will appearing once more in the upcoming film, causing major disasters and stealing one of van Gogh’s Sunflower painting. The film will be directed by Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan Movies 15-18, Knights of Sidonia), with Takeharu Sakurai (Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea) writing and TMS Entertainment (Detective Conan, Yowamushi Pedal) animating the movie. Minami Takayama (Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) returns as Conan Edogawa and Kappei Yamaguchi (Inuyasha in InuYasha) as Katio Kid.
Detective Conan Movie 19: The Hellfire Sunflowers will be releasing in Japanese theatres from April 18.
