The first commercial has been revealed for the upcoming anime adaptation of Square Enix’s arcade game Gunslinger Stratos. This new commercial previews some of the scenes from the upcoming anime. The anime itself is based on the arcade games by Square Enix, third person shooters utilising dual light guns. The anime itself will be directed by Shinpei Ezaki (Kimi ni Todoke and Attack on Titan Episode Director), produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Aldnoah.Zero) and the scenario being written by Gen Urobuchi (Aldnoah.Zero, Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica). The series will star: Atsushi Abe (Touma Kamijou in Toaru Majutsu no Index) as Tohru Kazasumi, Junichi Suwabe (Archer in Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) as Ricardo Martini, Sayaka Ohara (Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail) as Olga Janetine and Kana Ueda (Rin Tohsaka in Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) as Shizune Rindo.
Gunslinger Stratos -The Animation- will be airing from April 4th on Tokyo MX at 11:00pm JST during the Spring 2015 anime season.
