The most recent issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine has revealed that an anime adaptation of Eiji Masuda’s Jitsu wa Watashi wa (The Truth Is I Am…) manga is currently in production.
Jitsu wa Watashi wa (The Truth Is I Am…) is a romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Eiji Masuda. The series began in 2013 in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine where a total of 9 volumes have been published to date, with the 10th volume releasing on February 6.
Here is a synopsis of the series from MAL:
Meet Kuromine Asahi, “the man who can’t lie.” On the way home, he learns an important secret. His crush, Shiragami Youko, is actually a vampire! Can Asahi actually keep her secret?
It’s a fun, clumsy, one-of-a kind vampire romantic comedy!
Not much is currently known about the Jitsu wa Watashi wa anime adaptation, other than it will be a full TV series. More information will be revealed in the upcoming issues of Weekly Shonen Champion.
