Following the Nintendo Direct on the 14th, a newsletter has been released to Nintendo Australian users from Nintendo Australia recounting the new announcements made at the Direct. One intriguing thing from the Newsletter was in the 3DS section for games releasing in 2015, where the new Fire Emblem is receiving a TBC date for the year.
In the Newsletter Nintendo Australia have revealed that the new Fire Emblem title will be out on the Nintendo 3DS later this year, in Australia. The exact date has been to be confirmed for now, and whether the North American and European release of the game will also release this year has yet to be revealed. The game’s title in Western regions have also yet to be announced.
The Japanese release of the game, which will be titled in the country as Fire Emblem if, will be releasing in Japan this Summer.
The game will be once again developed by Intelligent Systems, who also developed the last instalment Fire Emblem Awakening, with the character designs by Yusuke Kozaki, who also did the designs for Awakening and No More Heroes, and story written by Shin Kibayashi, an award winning novelist.
