Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge TV Anime Adaptation Announced

The official website of Nozomi Uda’s Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (Tanaka is Always Listless) web manga has revealed that the series will be adapted into a TV anime. The anime’s official website has also launched revealing the first visual of the anime.

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (Tanaka is Always Listless) is a slice of life web manga written and illustrated by Nozomi Uda. The series began in 2013 being published on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website. To date a total of 5 volumes have been produced, with over 1 million copies of the series are currently in print.

Here is the synopsis of the series from MAL:

Sighing, leaning on his elbows, sleepy eyes. Tanaka-kun is a boy that basically doesn’t try but isn’t disliked. This is a laid-back youth comedy about Tanaka-kun and the quiet Oota who can’t leave him alone.

A TV anime adaptation of Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge is currently in production. Further information about the anime will be revealed at a later time.
