Charapedia: Top 20 Anticipated Anime of Fall/Autumn 2016

Only one week to go before we are ready to go for the next anime season. While many people are still recovering from the Summer 2016 anime season, Japanese fans are already getting hyped for the Fall/Autumn 2016 season. Before seeing their top 20 rankings for the next season, be sure to check out the latest anime chart. Japanese ranking site Charapedia has held a new poll asking its users for their top anticipated anime of the upcoming Fall/Autumn 2016 anime season.

Taking in the first 10,000 votes, the top 20 anime have been calculated and ranked. From the 10,000 votes, 56.3% of the total were female and the remaining 43.7% being male. 69.5% of the voters were under 30 and the 30.5% of voters were 30 or above.

So here are Charapedia’s Top 20 Anticipated Anime of Fall/Autumn 2016:

The publication of a new dictionary titled The Great Passage progresses. When Gjallarhorn attacks the CGS facilities to assassinate the young revolutionary threatening their interests, Orga and his comrades must not let the attackers accomplish their goal—in fact, Gjallarhorn’s actions might turn out to be the unintentional catalyst that leads the children to be the forgers of their own destiny.

Despite his reservations about becoming too close to the family, he frequently visits, interacting with them and receiving the kind of care and affection he never quite had while under his foster home.

The tiger seems to have a connection to Atsushi, and by the time the case is solved, it is clear that Atsushi’s future will involve much more of Dazai and the rest of the detectives!

However, in the band itself, chaos reigns supreme. Despite their intention to qualify for the national band competition, as they currently are, just competing in the local festival will be a challenge—unless the new band advisor Noboru Taki does something about it.

Fondly referred to as Nyanko-sensei, Madara is a mysterious, pint-sized feline spirit who has his own reasons for sticking with the boy.

Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama, and so after graduating from middle school, he joins Karasuno High School’s volleyball team—only to find that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now his teammate.

Thanks to his short height, Hinata struggles to find his role on the team, even with his superior jumping power. Surprisingly, Kageyama has his own problems that only Hinata can help with, and learning to work together appears to be the only way for the team to be successful. Based on Haruichi Furudate’s popular shounen manga of the same name, Haikyuu!! is an exhilarating and emotional sports comedy following two determined athletes as they attempt to patch a heated rivalry in order to make their high school volleyball team the best in Japan.
