Kouji Seo’s Fuuka Receives TV Anime Adaptation

The most recent issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine has announced that Kouji Seo’s Fuuka manga will be receiving a TV anime adaptation.

The issue also reveals that a teaser video for the anime will be revealed next week on the anime’s official website, which has yet to open. A small tease of the anime’s first visual was also presented:

Fuuka is a romantic drama manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo. The manga began in 2014 being published under Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine where a total of 11 compiled volumes have been released, with volume 12 coming out on August 17. Two of Seo’s previous manga, Suzuka and Kimi no Iru Machi, received TV anime adaptations in 2005 and 2013 respectively.

Yuu Haruna just moved into town and loves to be on twitter. Out on his way to buy dinner he bumps into a mysterious girl, Fuuka Akitsuki, who breaks his phone thinking he was trying to take a picture of her panties. How will his new life change now?

A TV anime adaptation of Fuuka is currently in production. More details about the series will soon follow, as well as the first teaser video.
