The official website of the anime adaptation of Sou Yayoi’s ReLIFE web manga has revealed that the TV anime will start its broadcast on July 2nd. In addition, the first key visual, additional members of cast, character designs and promotional video were also revealed.
The ReLIFE anime will have its first episode broadcast on Tokyo MX, BS11, GTV and Tochigi TV on Saturday, July 2nd at 12:00am JST. The anime will also air on AT-X starting July 3rd at 12:00am JST.
The main cast of the anime was revealed alongside their character designs:
- Kensho Ono (Slaine Troyard from Aldnoah.Zero) joins the cast to voice Arata Kaizaki
- Ai Kayano (Menma from AnoHana) is voicing Chizuru Hishiro
- Ryouhei Kimura (Kodaka Hasegawa in Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) is voicing as Ryou Yoake
- Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna from Sword Art Online) voices Rena Kariu
- Reina Ueda (Naru Sekiya in Hanayamata) as An Onoya
- Yuuma Uchida (Yuuma Kousaka in Gundam Build Fighters Try) will voice the role of Kazuomi Ooga
The supporting cast consists of:
- Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto) voices Akira Inukai
- Daisuke Namikawa (Rokuro Okajima in Black Lagoon) as Nobunaga Asaji
- Himika Akaneya (Nayu from Noragami) is voicing Honoka Tamarai
- Miyuki Sawashiro (Celty Sturluson from Durarara!!) joins to voice Kokoro Amatsu
- Wataru Hatano (Hakuya Mitsumine in Mikakunin de Shinkoukei) will be voicing Koushi Usa
- Ryoko Shiraishi (Hayate Ayasaki from Hayate no Gotoku!) voicing as Sumire Inukai

ReLIFE is a romance slice of life web manga written and illustrated by Sou Yayoi. The series began in late 2013 being released on NHN PlayArt’s comico web application. The series has a total of 5 compiled volumes, with the latest volume releasing on February 12. The first two volumes of the manga has more than 450,000 copies in circulation. The series will also be adapted into a live action stage play.

The story follows Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year-old jobless man, who fails at every job interview he had after quitting his last company. His life changes after he met Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offered him a drug that can change his appearance to 17-years-old and to become a subject in an experiment for one year. Thus, he begins his life as a high school student once more.
The ReLIFE TV anime adaptation will start airing on Saturdays at 12:00am JST on Tokyo MX from July 2nd, during the Summer 2016 anime season. Further information about the series will be revealed at a later date.
