The official website of the anime adaptation of Meguru Ueno’s Hajimete no Gal (First-Time Gal) manga has revealed additional cast members and updated character designs for the July 2017 series.
A total of three new cast members and characters were revealed:
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Mikado Ryuugamine from Durarara!!) joins the cast to voice Shinpei Sakamoto
- Kenji Akabane (The Producer from THE IDOLM@STER) as Keigo Ishida
- Minoru Shiraishi (Minoru Shiraishi from Lucky☆Star) voices Minoru Kobayakawa
They will join the previously revealed main cast:
- Shintaro Asanuma (Takatoshi Tsuda from Seitokai Yakuindomo) will voice Junichi Hashiba
- Yuki Nagaku (Ichigo Moesaki from Sore ga Seiyuu!) as Yukana Yame
- Eri Kitamura (Yui in Angel Beats!) is going to voice Ranko Honjou
- Ayana Taketatsu (Kirino Kousaka from Oreimo) will be voicing as Yui Kashii
- Yui Ogura (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.) voices Shizune Fujinoki
The leading members of the anime’s production consists of:
- Director and Anime Character Designer: Hiroyuki Furukawa (Okusama ga Seitokaichou!, Piccole Principesse Lil’Pri)
- Assistant Director: Yuki Ogawa (Ooya-san wa Shishunki!)
- Series Composer: Yuuichiro Momose (Minori Scramble! and Fate/Zero Production Assistant)
- Sound Director: Masakatsu Oomuro (Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken, Okusama ga Seitokaichou!)
- Animation Studio: Naz (Hamatora, DRAMAtical Murder)
The Japanese idol group Erabareshi will be performing the anime’s Ending theme song, Galtic Love.

Hajimete no Gal (First-Time Gal) is an ecchi, romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Meguru Ueno. The series started in November 2015 being published under Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine. A total of 2 volumes have been released to date.
Series synopsis from MAL:
Spring. The “season of love” has arrived and it seems that finding himself a girlfriend was harder than Junichi believed. To break the status quo, Junichi’s friends have forced him into confessing to the gyaru, Yame Yukana. However, things do not go quite as he expected. A series of “firsts” begins!
The Hajimete no Gal TV anime adaptation will be airing this July during the Summer 2017 anime season. Further details about the upcoming anime will be revealed at a later date.
