At Nintendo’s E3 spotlight event, Tsunekazu Ishihara from the Pokemon Company announced that a core Pokémon RPG is in development for the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Ishihara mentions that the game may not release for more than a year.
Here is the announcement video:
Nintendo previously announced two Pokémon titles at the previous Nintendo Direct; Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon for the Nintendo 3DS and Pokkén Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch. Both games will be releasing later this year.
Nintendo and Game Freak are currently producing a new core Pokémon RPG for the Nintendo Switch. Details on the game won’t be revealed for at least another year.
