A brand new promotional video has been released for the upcoming second season of the anime adaptation of Sankaku Head’s Himouto! Umaru-chan manga. The new video for Himouto! Umaru-chan R reintroduces to us the main characters and lovable imouto from the first season, whilst previewing the antics they will be part of in the new season. The video also previews the Opening theme song Nimensei☆Ura Omote Life! by Miyu Tomita as Umaru.
The second season of the Himouto! Umaru-chan anime, Himouto! Umaru-chan R, will air every Sunday at 11:00pm JST on AT-X from October 8th, this Fall/Autumn 2017 anime season.

Season 2 of Himouto! Umaru-chan will begin its broadcast on Sunday at 11:00pm JST on AT-X. The anime will also air on Tokyo MX and BS11 at midnight (effectively Monday, October 9th). In addition, the series will also air on ABC Asahi from the 12th at 2:15am JST.
The main cast of the first season will return for Himouto! Umaru-chan R:
- Miyu Tomita (Gabriel Tenma White from Gabriel DropOut) stars as Umaru Doma
- Kenji Nojima (Nobuchika Ginoza in Psycho-Pass) will voice Taihei Doma
- Akari Kageyama (Aine Chidorigafuchi from Masou Gakuen HxH) as Nana Ebina
- Haruka Shiraishi (Ronja in Sanzoku no Musume Ronja) voices Kirie Motoba
- Yurina Furukawa (Debut Role) is voicing Sylphynford Tachibana
- Hiroki Yasumoto (Agil in Sword Art Online) as Takeshi Motoba
- Tetsuya Kakihara (Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) voicing the role of Alex Tachibana
- Ami Koshimizu (Ryuuko Matoi in Kill la Kill) voices Kanau
