The official website for the 2017 Kyoto Animation & Animation Do Fan Event has revealed a brand new visual for the upcoming concert that will take place on the weekend of October 21-22. The concert will have a live performance from the orchestra behind Hibike! Euphonium and special screenings of the Free! movie and Violet Evergarden.
There will also be a concert featuring the music and songs from Hibike! Euphonium, as well as a pre-screening for the first episode of Violet Evergarden and an advanced screening of Free! -Take Your Marks-.
The two screening events will be held on Saturday, October 21st with the first episode of Violet Evergarden screening at 2:00pm JST, followed by a talk show with the cast and staff and a live performance of the Opening theme song, and the screening of Free! -Take Your Marks- at 6:00pm JST, followed by a talk show with the director and character designer.
The concert will be held on Sunday, October 22nd in two sessions: a 1:00pm JST session and a 5:00pm JST session. The concert will be performed by the orchestra responsible for the music in the anime’s second season. The concert will be succeeded by talk show with the main cast and staff.
The concert venue will also have limited merchandise for sale, which will open at 11:00am JST on both days. However due to demand and popularity, merchandise will be limited to 2 per customer. The first revealed products include:

The Kyoto Animation & Animation Do Fan Event event will be held on the Weekend of October 28 – 29 at the Miyako Messe, Kyoto International Exhibition Hall. On the Saturday, the event will run from 10:00am JST until 7:00pm JST and on Sunday from 10:00am JST till 5:00pm JST. There will be various events on the main stage, as well as exhibitions showcasing the many series and tons of merchandise to purchase. The featured anime at the event include:

- Free!
- Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
- Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
- Koe no Katachi
- Musaigen no Phantom World
- Hibike! Euphonium
- Kyoukai no Kanata
- Violet Evergarden
Tickets for the event are currently on sale and can be purchased either online or at the official KyoAni shop. Two type of tickets are available for fans:
- A complete edition ticket is available for ¥12,000 (~ US$107.80) and will contain a 112 page book with commentary from the production staff about their works over the past two years, a 100 illustration book with art hand-picked by staff, and a Blu-ray disk that embodies Kyoto Animation and Animation Do with their creative works, and with a special box and booklet.
- The regular ticket admission is available for ¥3,000 (~ US$27.00).

The first event was held in 2015 for the 30th anniversary of Kyoto Animation.
The live concert for the upcoming Kyoto Animation Fan Event will be held on October 21st and 22nd, with a performance of the Hibike!
