The official website of the anime adaptation of Hiromi Takashima’s yuri manga Kase-san, titled Asagao to Kase-San (Kase-san and Morning Glories), has revealed that the upcoming OVA will be released in theatres across Japan on June 9th. In addition, a brand new visual and promotional video were also revealed.

The new PV also reveals the cast members of the two leads:
- Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka from Boku no Hero Academia) voicing as Tomoka Kase
- Minami Takahashi (Megumi Tadokoro in Shokugeki no Souma) as Yui Yamada
The ONA episode of the anime, Your Light, was released on Youtube in May 2017 and briefly follows through the events of the manga’s first story. The episode also features the insert song Kimi no Egao by Hanako Oku.

Kase-san Series is a romantic yuri manga written and illustrated by Hiromi Takashima. The series began in 2010 being published by Shinshokan’s Hirari Magazine, before moving to the Flash Wings web platform in 2014. To date a total of 4 compiled volumes have been released with the latest volume releasing in July.

Yamada may be shy and rather clumsy, but the flower gardens at her school have always brought her happiness. Suddenly, a different sort of beauty catches her eye—the vivacious track star, Kase-san. Although the two girls don’t seem to have much in common, they soon start a romance where each must learn an important lesson in tending their budding relationship. Can the two girls, so different from each other, learn how to make their first love blossom?
The upcoming OVA of Asagao to Kase-san will be having a limited theratrical release in Japan on June 9th. Further details about the OVA will be revealed at a later date.
