The second promotional video has been released for the upcoming anime adaptation of the Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden (Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record) mobile game. The new video reintroduces to us the world of Madoka and the magical girls bound by contract to the mysterious Kyubey,
The Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden TV anime will premiere on the midnight of January 4th/5th on TBS, GTV, and Tochigi TV.

The main voice cast for the game will return to reprise their role in the upcoming anime:
- Momo Asakura (Ayumi Otosaka in Charlotte) reprises her role as Iroha Tamaki
- Shiina Natsukawa (Nonoka Komiya from Sora no Method) as Yachiyo Nanami
- Emiri Katou (Mayoi Hachikuji in Bakemonogatari) returns as Kyuubey
- Kana Hanazawa (Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats!) joins the cast to voice Kuroe
- Yui Ogura (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.) as Sana Futaba
- Ayaka Ohashi (Uzuki Shimamura in The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls) voices Kaede Akino
- Sora Amamiya (Miia from Monster Musume) voicing as Yachiyo Nanami
- Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka from Boku no Hero Academia) returns to voice Mitsuki Felicia
- Mikako Komatsu (Neko in K) as Togame Momoko
- Kaori Ishihara (Aladdin in Magi: The Kingdom of Magic) voicing the role of Rena Minami

The game itself is a spin-off of the Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) anime, a mobile JRPG that follows the story of original character Iroha Tamaki.
