At the recent Taipei Gaming Show, a livestream presentation for Sony’s PlayStation 4 has a somewhat cryptic tease that could point to the sequel to Konami and Platinum Games’ Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The blue 2, which can still be seen on the official livestream on Twitch at 2:46:39, uses a similar font and blue tone to the logo of the first game. It was shown only for a brief second after Sony’s The Order: 1886. The presentation itself showcases the upcoming games to the PS4’s library.

Here is the main logo for the first game for comparison:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a character action game that released in 2013, developed by Platinum Games and published by Konami. The game itself went through a rough development with Kojima Productions unable to finish the game before scrapping it and eventually passing it on Platinum Games. It is set in the Metal Gear franchise after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and follows Raiden, a cyborg ninja employed to dispatch the private military company Desperado. The game received high reception on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and even on the PC after it was ported a year later.

It could be possible that a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance 2 is coming our way. More information about it will be revealed soon.
