The official website of the anime adaptation of Afro’s Yurucamp△ (Laid-Back Camp△) manga has announced two new cast members that will be joining the January 2018 TV series.
The two new voice actresses that will join the cast are:
- Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan) voicing as Sakura Kagamihara
- Akio Ohtsuka (Batou in Ghost in the Shell) who will narrate the anime
They will join the previously revealed main cast:
- Yumiri Hanamori (Chiaya Misono from Rolling☆Girls) will voice Nadeshiko Kagamihara
- Nao Touyama (Chitoge Kirisaki in Nisekoi) as Rin Shima
- Sayuri Hara (Mio Honda from The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) joins the cast as Chiaki Oogaki
- Aki Toyosaki (Yui Hirasawa from K-ON!) who will voice Aoi Inuyama
- Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KonoSuba) voicing the role of Ena Saitou
The anime’s production staff consists of:
- Director: Yoshiaki Kyougoku (Kuroko’s Basketball and Robotics;Notes Episode Director)
- Series Composer: Jin Tanaka (Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, Go! Princess Precure)
- Anime Character Designer: Mutsumi Sasaki (Seikoku no Dragonar, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom)
- Animation Studio: C-Station (Seikoku no Dragonar, Starmyu)
The anime’s Opening theme will SHINY DAYS by Asaka, and the Ending theme will be Eri Sasaki’s Furubi yori.

Yurucamp△ (Laid-Back Camp△) is a comedy slice of life manga written and illustrated by Afro. The series is currently serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine. where to date a total of 4 compiled volumes have been published, the latest on July 12th. An anime adaptation of the manga has been announced and will premiere in January 2018.
Here is the series synopsis from MAL:
Rin likes to go camping by herself along the lakes that provide a scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Nadeshiko loves to take cycling trips by herself to places where she can see Mt. Fuji. After they meet, Rin and Nadeshiko take camping trips, eat cup ramen together, and enjoy the scenery.
A TV anime adaptation of Yuru Camp△ is in production and will premiere in January 2018 broadcast, during the Winter 2017/2018 anime season. Further details about the series will be released in the upcoming weeks.
