A brand new promotional video has been released for the anime adaptation of Meguru Ueno’s Hajimete no Gal (First-Time Gal) manga. The new 110 second video sets up the premise of the upcoming series and introduces to us the main characters and their fun personalities. The anime’s Opening theme, Hajimete no SEASON by Junjou no Afilia, is also previewed in the PV.
The Hajimete no Gal TV anime adaptation will be airing this July during the Summer 2017 anime season.

The anime will run for a total of 10 episodes with an OVA as a separate release.
They will join the previously revealed main cast:
- Shintaro Asanuma (Takatoshi Tsuda from Seitokai Yakuindomo) will voice Junichi Hashiba
- Yuki Nagaku (Ichigo Moesaki from Sore ga Seiyuu!) as Yukana Yame
- Eri Kitamura (Yui in Angel Beats!) is going to voice Ranko Honjou
- Ayana Taketatsu (Kirino Kousaka from Oreimo) will be voicing as Yui Kashii
- Yui Ogura (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.) voices Shizune Fujinoki
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Mikado Ryuugamine from Durarara!!) joins the cast to voice Shinpei Sakamoto
- Kenji Akabane (The Producer from THE IDOLM@STER) as Keigo Ishida
- Minoru Shiraishi (Minoru Shiraishi from Lucky☆Star) voices Minoru Kobayakawa

The Opening theme song of the anime will be Hajimete no SEASON performed by Junjou no Afilia. The Japanese idol group Erabareshi will be performing the anime’s Ending theme song, Gal-tic Love.
Series synopsis from MAL:
Spring. The “season of love” has arrived and it seems that finding himself a girlfriend was harder than Junichi believed. To break the status quo, Junichi’s friends have forced him into confessing to the gyaru, Yame Yukana. However, things do not go quite as he expected. A series of “firsts” begins!
