The first trailer has been released for the upcoming third season of the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). The new season will be adapting the next manga arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc (Katanakaji Sato-hen), running through volumes 100 – 127. The new trailer recaps all the events from the prior seasons and film and gives us a small glimpse of what’s to come.
The 3rd season of the Demon Slayer anime is currently in production.

The main cast of the third season has been revealed as:
- Natsuki Hanae (Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul) voicing Tanjirou Kamado
- Akari Kitou (Calen from Time Bokan 24) as Nezuko Kamado
- Hiro Shimono (Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows) voices the role of Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito in Sword Art Online) as Inosuke Hashibira
- Kengo Kawanishi (Rei Kiriyama in Sangatsu no Lion) will voice Muichiro Tokito
- Kana Hanazawa (Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats!) as Mitsuri Kanroji
The leading members of the second season’s staff will return:
- Director: Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Zestiria the X)
- Anime Character Designer: Akira Matsushima (Maria-sama ga Miteru, Tales of Zestiria the X)
- Animation Studio: ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai)
