At today’s Aniplex X Key Presents The New Project conference in Tokyo, Japanese composer and writer Jun Maeda appeared on stage with the announcement of a new project: Charlotte. It will be an original anime series that will air in 2015. The anime’s official website is now live and revealed the first visual:
Jun Maeda will write the screenplay and compose some of the music of the anime, which will be produced by P.A. Works (Angel Beats!, Nagi no Asukara) . It will also feature character designs from Na-Ga, a popular artist who works with Key on many of their famous visual novels and also the character designs of the Angel Beats! light novel, anime and visual novel.

ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki G’s Magazine will help in the anime’s production and marketing.
Not a lot of information about Charlotte has been revealed. More information will be released in the upcoming issue of Dengeki G’s Magazine, which will release on the 27th.
