The International branch of Japanese developer and publisher Idea Factory has recently announced that the PlayStation Vita game Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 will be releasing in Europe and North America. The game will be coming out later this Summer. In North America the game will be available in retail and digital, while in Europe the game is digital only.
Additionally, the official website for the English version of the game has opened with information and images of the game. The site showcases the three main characters of the game: Neptuna/Purple Heart, If and Compa.
And a synopsis of the game’s plot:
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a remake of the original Hyperdimension Neptunia game that released in 2011 for the PlayStation 3. It was developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart, and was localised by NIS America and Tecmo Koei. The game is coming to the Vita and will have many new improved gameplay mechanics and visuals. It also has a more structured plot, reworked music, new characters with some characters have been removed. Here are a bunch of screenshots of the game:

Hyperdimension Neptunia is a video game series developed by Compile Heart and Idea Factory. The games are JRPGs based around console wars, and their companies – Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. The first game in the series released on the PlayStation 3 in 2010. The games have had many sequels and spin-offs since the first game, and even a manga and anime adaptation. Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation was produced by David Production and aired in July 2013. The latest game in the series to release in Japan was Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation, a remake of the second game in the series. There are two additional upcoming games for the Vita: a tactical RPG titled Hyper Goddess Faith Noir: Extreme God Black Heart, and the English release of the idol management game titled Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP. The games will release on May 29th, and later in 2014 respectively.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 will be out on the Vita this Summer. In North America the game will be found in retail stores and downloadable from the PlayStation Network/Sony Entertainment Network Store. In Europe it is only available digitally from the PSN/SEN Store. More information about the game’s release will be revealed in the upcoming months.
