It has been announced in the latest issue of Futabasha’s Comic High!, that the manga Joshi Kousei will be returning. Dubbed as Joshi Kousei Girls High 2nd Season, the second season will follow off where the manga previously ended, in 2007. Though, the new manga will only be published every two months.
Joshi Kousei (High School Girls) or commonly referred to as Girls High, is a Seinen manga created by Towa Oshima in 2001. The comedy series was first published by Futabasha’s Weekly Manga Action before moving to the Comic High! magazine in 2004. The original manga ended in 2006 for a total of 6 volumes. The series also received an anime adaptation in 2006 from studio ARMS.

High school is a time of new opportunity, new adventures… and the same old silliness that you thought you grew out of. Yuma, Eriko, and Ayano are three friends starting their years at an all-girls high school, and are forced to learn just how things run in this new crazy world. Classes, cliques, and even sex… nothing is avoided when high school girls are let loose!
The first chapter of Joshi Kousei Girls-High 2nd Season is currently available in the April edition of Comic High! The new manga series will be published bi-monthly.
