Earlier this year there was an announcement that there will be a new project in production based on Chuugaku Akamatsu and Kobuichi’s light novel series Hidan no Aria (Aria the Scarlet Ammo). It has been revealed that there will be three new projects, with the first being revealed as a light novel adaptation.
The first new Hidan No Aria project will be a light novel adaptation of the spin-off manga Hidan no Aria AA (Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double). The manga itself began in 2010 in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine and is written by Akamatsu and illustrated by Kobuichi. There has been a total of 7 volumes of the manga released so far.
