Humble Bundle Celebrates Valentines with Visual Novel Pack & Hatoful Boyfriend Dakimakura

The Humble Bundle, a site selling various games and items in weekly and monthly bundles, have revealed their new weekly Humble Bundle just in time for Valentine’s Day. The new bundle is themed all around love and what better way to experience it than by playing visual novels. And also, a special Dakimakura cover.

This week’s Weekly Humble Bundle has a total of 7 games for offer with three soundtracks. The way Humble Bundle works is that it you can pay how much you want for the bundle and choose how much of the price goes to which benefactor, either Humble Bundle, a charity or the developers themselves. To ensure that people can’t all just pay the minimum, they offer the games in payment tiers where you receive a new set of games above the payment threshold. All the games are redeemed on Steam.

For the minimum tier, which all buyers will receive, includes:

  • Long Live the Queen

Rule the world or die trying!

Being a Princess is not an easy job. Being a Queen is even harder. Especially when you’re only fourteen years old and the reason you’ve inherited the throne is that your royal mother has just met an untimely end.

Now, power is up for grabs. You may be the official heir, but much of the country’s nobility would love to steal the throne for themselves. Aggressive neighbors will take advantage of any weakness to enlarge their borders at your expense. And that’s not even mentioning the magical dangers which are lying in wait…

Can you survive long enough to reach your coronation?

  • Analogue: A Hate Story

Back in the 25th century, Earth launched a generation ship into deep space, with the goal of establishing the first interstellar colony. It dropped out of contact and disappeared, never reaching its destination. Thousands of years later, it has finally been found.

Uncover the mystery of what happened to the final generation aboard the generation ship Mugunghwa by reading through its dead crew’s logs, with the help of a spunky AI sidekick! Two pursuable characters. Five endings. A dark visual novel that further extends the non-linear style of Digital: A Love Story in a mystery featuring transhumanism, traditional marriage, loneliness, and cosplay.

Welcome to the future.

  • Go! Go! Nippon! ~My First Trip to Japan~

As the game’s protagonist, you’ll travel to famous Japanese sightseeing spots in the company of a pair of beautiful young sisters. The girls will describe the spots, take you out to dinner, and grow closer to you throughout your travels.

The thrill of taking a trip through Japan with pretty girls is the experience offered by this “Guide Game” — a guidebook in game format!

Those three games will be for all buyers regardless how much you pay. If you decide to pay more than the average price that all purchasers bought the bundle, then you can receive three more games on top of the first tier:

  • WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01

From the author of Spice and Wolf, Isuna Hasekura, comes WORLD END ECONOMiCA, a three-part visual novel set in the far future on the moon, 16 years after humans have begun to colonize it. A young boy named Haru has been chasing his wildest dream. His dream is to stand where no man has stood before, and in order to do so he needs capital… a ludicrous amount of capital. What better place to get that amount of capital than by using the stock market?

There are two key rules that govern the stock market:

-The first rule: Never take a loss.
-The second rule: Never forget the first.

Only those who follow these rules are able to obtain enormous wealth.

  • Hate Plus

Spend three real-time days uncovering the mystery of what went horribly wrong on a derelict generation ship, with the help of a spunky/more-than-slightly-traumatized AI sidekick!

A sequel to Analogue: A Hate Story that tells a whole new hate story of its own. Analogue players can pick up where their finished save files left off, and new players can start fresh in Hate Plus.

A dark visual novel about transhumanism, cosplay, cake-baking, and the slow patriarchal erosion of freedoms taken for granted.

  • Roommates

This is the Deluxe Edition of the game. It also includes the soundtrack and bonus wallpaper.

Welcome to the halls of Latin House! The best dorm (that you can afford) at the greatest college (that would accept you). Okay, maybe we’re overselling it.

You’re invited along with either Max or Anne as they make their way through the first year of their college experience.

They’ll share their dorm life with four other tenants as they pick their classes, jobs, and maybe even someone to have a little extra curricular fun with.

Neither of them can get through college without you, so who will you help? Rock god Max or book-smart Anne? Between bitter tenured professors and a ridiculously distracting student body, it’s going to take everything they’ve got just to make it to year two.

The next tier is over the payment of $8 USD and you will receive a copy of:

  • Hatoful Boyfriend

Congratulations! You’ve been accepted as the only human student at the prestigious St. PigeoNation’s Institute, a school for talented birds! Roam the halls and find love in between classes as a sophomore student at the world’s greatest pigeon high school. Finding happiness won’t be easy, but it’s not all academic — there’s always time for a little romance in this delightful remake of Hato Moa’s popular visual novel / avian dating sim Hatoful Boyfriend!

And the final payment tier, for $35 or more, is a dakimakura cover Ryouta from Hatoful Boyfriend. On the front of the cover is the human version and the reverse has the pigeon version of the lovely bird.

Purchases of Analogue: A Hate Story, Hate Plus, and Roommates come with the game’s soundtrack. Additionally, there are also various Valentine’s Card for you to print out themed after the visual novels.

The Humble Weekly Bundle for Lovers are currently available for purchase for however much you want to play. Though if you want all the visual novels be sure to beat all the tiers. You can visit the bundle here:
