The debut trailer has released for the upcoming free to play Ghost in the Shell First Connection online game, which was announced last year. This first person class based shooter is being developed and published by Nexon. The game includes various classes and skills lifted from Masamune Shirow’s acclaimed series. The game itself will be based on the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex universe from Production I.G., featuring the main characters from Section 9 and their designs from the series. As with many of Nexon’s games, there will be micro transactions for various boosts, abilities, weapons and skins. The game will also include PvE co-op modes and various PvP modes. The playable characters in the game are cyborgs where players are able to hack into the opponent for a swift kill.
Ghost in the Shell: First Connection will be out in Korea in early 2015. No information about an international release has been made so far.
