Australian and New Zealand anime distributor Madman have released a new trailer revealing that Mamoru Hosoda’s upcoming film Bakemono no Ko (The Boy and The Beast) will be releasing in select cinemas in Australia. The trailer itself is a version of the latest promotional video with English subtitles. The film will be directed and written by Hosoda (Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) himself and will feature Studio Chizu (Wolf Children) producing the movie. The film will star Aoi Miyazaki (Hana in Wolf Children) as the boy Kyuuta.
Bakemono no Ko is scheduled to release in Japanese theatres on July 11. It will be releasing in Australian cinemas later this year.
